This is Us | Quakertown PA Family Photographer

One of the big reasons I wanted to participate in the This is Us blog circle is because  I want my daughter to be able to look back through our photos and see what honest, authentic everyday life was like for us. I want her to see what our house looked like (mess and all!), what she looked like, what her brothers looked like, and some of the things we did during the days. But most of all, I want her to look back and feel the love that surrounded her each and every day.

February was a month full of fun and activities but Valentine's crafts were on the top of our list. One of the crafts that was the most fun was coffee filter hearts! Super easy, too! Cut hearts shapes out of coffee filters, color them with markers and then spray with a water bottle. All the colors bleed together and look like watercolor art. As you'll see,  we had a blast! Even big brother got in on the fun! Here are some of my favorites.

Once you're finished, hop on over to Terri's blog to see what she's been up to.

This Is Us | Bucks County Photographer

Starting this month, I will be participating in a blog circle called "This is Us". Each month, I'll be posting a little slice of my life as I see it. The little details and moments that make up our life. No posing, no directing. Simply documenting things as they happen.

My baby recently turned 4 and this has me scurrying as fast as I can to document her more now than ever. She's changing before my eyes. I'm hoping I can capture as much of her essence and last little bits of baby/toddler ways as I can.

Tell me a little bit about your daily life. What are your routines? What would you document each day? Share below in the comments.

Thanks for following along. Be sure to check out another

1st Birthday Party- Philadelphia Event Photograher

Late last year, I had the amazing experience of photographing a traditional Korean Dol, or Doljabi. This is a huge 1st birthday celebration featuring lots of food, guests and fun. But the highlight of the Dol, and what everyone is waiting to see, is when the child is placed in front of various items and encouraged to pick one. It is thought that the item that is chosen will foretell the child's future.

Sweet Adelaide had her sights on the xylophone but at the last minute chose rice, which symbolizes an abundant life.

It was a day filled with friends, family and most certainly love for the birthday girl.

An Event to Remember | Bucks County Photographer

Hi everyone! I have something a little different today. I don't do a lot of events simply because I haven't put myself out there for them. But I recently had the awesome opportunity to photograph a wedding rehearsal dinner. The grooms sister was so sweet and wanted her brother and his wife to have candid, documentary style photos of dinner because she had something similar for her own wedding. I thought it was a great idea! I loved being able to capture the details and fun of the afternoon. Family and friends there to celebrate the happy couple and their love.

Documentary photography is something that I love. The photos are real, unscripted and always there to remind you of exactly how the day went. Kids grow, friends move away, and memories fade. But look back at your photos and you are instantly transported back in time.

I'd love to photograph more small events. If you, or someone you know, has a small event coming up contact me! I'd love to document it for you!

Baby A. | Hello Baby! Bucks County Newborn Photographer

I loved this session. It might have something to do with the fact that I know mom and dad. I've known them for quite some time too. Maybe 10 years? Wow. So when mom messaged me to ask if I would do photos of her new addition, I was just a wee bit excited!

Baby A. was entirely too cute. And her big brother? Swoon!
